Membership Criteria
Associate Member (level 1)
To become an Associate Coach member in ICTA the student should have at least 120 hours of practical training in coaching (including a professional training program, personal change work and client work). Associate Coach member possesses basic level of coaching expertise and must be able to:
- Create a functional rapport to the coachee
- Assist coachee to unleash the values and desire
- Assist coachee to create clear goals of what to achieve and how to get there
- Assist coachee to make simple change work of internal parts and/or beliefs needed to be changed to achieve the goal.
This level of membership is free.
Full Member (level 2)
To become a Full Member of ICTA student must:
- Meet the criteria for an Associate Member
- Fulfill the 250 hours of personal training plan from the accredited institute.* It includes a number of hours in method, client work, supervision and personal change work.
- Be able to create rapport to any coachee
- Be able to identify the problem behind the symptom
- Assist Coachee to elicit the core values and to resolve conflicting values
- Be able to assist coachee at both the conscious and subconscious levels
- Have coachee set up an ecological goal and create focus towards that
- Assist coachee to identify resistance, check the ecology and if necessary create the change needed to achieve the goal
- Assist coachee to set up a plan of action and a way to evaluate the steps leading to the goal.
This level of membership requires annual fee of 50 euro.
Specialist Member (level 3)
To become a Specialist Member of ICTA student must:
- ICTA Profesional Trainer takes 470 hours of professional training: Full Member criteria + 100 hours Trainer’s Training, evaluation & certification. The students are certified as Professional Trainer within their branch (NLP, Enneagram, Hypnosis, Coaching etc.).**
- ICTA Professional Master Coach takes 500 hours of professional training: Full Member (370 hours) and a further 130 hours training, supervision, client work and personal work.
- ICTA Professional Master Trainer: Criteria are discussed individually and are based on professional experience and professional contribution to the development of coaching and training methods.
** Students who have taken certificate as only a NLP Practitioner and NLP Master can take the Trainers Training, evaluation and certification and become certified as Business Trainers. They can later do the rest of the 370 hours and get their ICTA Trainer certificate. This can be done by a combination of supervision, client-work, personal coaching, teaching and so on. Hours need documentation.
This level of membership acquires annual fee of 100 euro.
Accredited Institute (level 4)
Accredited Institute is headed by a Professional Master Trainer or a Professional Trainer supervised by a Master Trainer.
This level of membership requires annual fee of 100 euro.
* People trained somewhere else than with ICTA Accredited Institutes can join ICTA if they fulfill the criteria and can provide all the necessary documentation for that (certificates, documented client work, individual coaching and supervision.
